The roller shutter door is composed of a set of extruded aluminium components and safety elements that ensure rigidity, durability and quiet operation.

1. ALUMINIUM SLAT

The slat is manufactured from double-face extruded aluminium with a thickness of 1.2 mm, providing high rigidity and stability. The usable height is 4.5 cm, with a flat geometry to ensure smooth and quiet rolling. At each end, it incorporates 1 mm nylon end caps, ensuring smooth sliding, preventing metal-to-metal contact and reducing overall wear of the system.

2. ALUMINIUM BOTTOM BAR

The bottom bar is made of aluminium with a height of 76.2 mm and a special U-shaped profile on the rear side. This configuration allows the insertion of a black EPDM sealing gasket, improving tightness and reducing air, dust and noise infiltration. As with the slats, it includes 1 mm nylon end caps on each side to ensure smooth and stable operation.

3. EXTRUDED ALUMINIUM SIDE GUIDE

Guide made of 1.2 mm thick extruded aluminium, with a total width of 6.6 cm and a 2.2 cm internal space for the vertical movement of the door. It includes an internal chamber of 1.2 cm for reinforcement and machining. Its U-shaped internal design is intended to house the rubber self-locking profile, preventing direct contact between the guide and the curtain, reducing noise and increasing the self-locking effect of the system.

4. S-SHAPED OVERLAP PROFILE

Between slats, an aluminium S-shaped profile is integrated, creating a firm and secure overlap. This design prevents manual lifting of the door, acting as an anti-lift system and increasing closing security.
