The roller shutter door is composed of a set of extruded aluminium components and safety elements that ensure rigidity, durability and quiet operation.

1. 1. ALUMINIUM SLAT

The slat is manufactured from double-face extruded aluminium with a thickness of 1.2 mm and a height of 6.3 cm, featuring a curved geometry to increase resistance. At each end it incorporates 1 mm nylon caps that ensure smooth movement and prevent metal-to-metal contact.

2. ALUMINIUM BOTTOM BAR

The bottom bar, also made of extruded aluminium, has a height of 76.2 mm and a special U-shaped profile on the rear side. This configuration allows the insertion of a black EPDM sealing gasket, ensuring airtight closure. On the sides, it includes 1 mm nylon end caps to improve stability and reduce friction.

3. EXTRUDED ALUMINIUM SIDE GUIDE

The side guides are made of 1.2 mm thick extruded aluminium with a total width of 7.6 cm. They include a 2.7 cm running space for the curtain and a 1.2 cm chamber for reinforcement and machining. Their internal U-shaped design allows the insertion of a rubber self-locking profile, preventing direct contact between the guide and the curtain, reducing noise and enhancing the anti-lift effect in case of forced opening attempts.

4. S-SHAPED OVERLAP PROFILE

Between slats, an aluminium S-shaped profile is installed, designed to create a secure overlapping system. This prevents the door from being manually lifted from the outside, as the assembly locks automatically.
